This course is a comprehensive study of chemical EOR simulation techniques using the mechanistic UTCHEM chemical flooding simulator. The models and capabilities of commercial reservoir simulators (Stars, Eclipse, etc.) will also be discussed. Participants will use these tools to simulate the life cycle of CEOR, from matching performance in laboratory tests to field-scale implementation strategies.
